Made a great costume and want to
show it off? Well the cosplay competition is great for showing it
off. So what is the cosplay competition? The cosplay competition
is like a cat walk you walk on strike your characters pose and
walk off it’s as simple as that! As you do so you will be judged
by a panel on Style, the effort you put into it, quality and how
well you portray the character you are cosplaying. Too afraid to
do it alone? Why not enter as a group? You can sign up for the
Masquerade by emailing us, filling in a form at Tokyo Otaku or
signing up on the day.
There are only 20 spaces available
for this competition and they
are on a first come first serve basis and we cannot guarantee
there will be spaces on the day! We look forward to seeing you at
J-Con.
Due to time limits we cannot take
music requests, though music will be provided.

J-Con is a gathering of
part-time anime and manga lovers, Otaku, kit builders, figure
aficionados, artists and those just curious enough to take those
first steps outside their bedroom into the world of Japan. Otaku
from around the country, this is an opportunity to attend a
gathering that will provide education, support self-expression,
foster new friendships, and renew old acquaintances! It is our
goal to encourage everyone interested in Japan and anime to
unite as a community and grow as a result. Whether you are new
to it all or a skilled Otaku, there will be something for you! |
